IBPS Preparation
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts Common Written Exam (CWE) yearly. The recruitment in private, public, co-operative and rural banks in India is done with the help of this two-tier examination system followed by a rigorous interview procedure. Roughly, every year nearly 1.5 crore of students appear for this coveted exam. The CWE by IBPS is considered as one of the toughest exams to assess the knowledge of aspirants in aptitude at entry level banking jobs in India.
The IBPS issues a valid score card on the basis of CWE procedure, the candidates are called for final interview and then recruited to top banks on the basis of merit. The post for which CWE is conducted includes Clerks, Probationary Officers, Management Trainees and Specialist Officers. The exam is conducted yearly on a tentative schedule where a candidate has to appear for preliminary as well as mains examinations.
The banking sector is one of the industries that see exponential growth with the boom of market; thereby there are yearly lots of vacancies released by IBPS. A person who is willing to attempt IBPS exam is expected to have general knowledge regarding banking industry, finance sector, and a grasp on aptitude. The objective of having the CWE is to impart a common platform to the candidates coming from different backgrounds and join banking sector. The candidates are supposed to have basic Computer Knowledge and English Comprehension skills. New Syllabus for IBPS 2015
IBPS New Syllabus & Pattern
IBPS has announced the V CWE for the year 2015, and with that a lot of changes in the IBPS exams pattern. As discussed earlier, from this year, the exam will be held in two-tier formats, first the preliminary exams and candidates who have successfully cleared the prelims will be called for the main exams to be held in the next year. The dates are out, and it’s time to manage the remaining time as per schedule.
